This new placemat was given to the children at the Betty J. Taylor Early Learning Academy and also given out at a recent community event.

The placemat contains various phrases to be used around the bedroom, including common clothing items.

A QR code directs your smartphone to a webpage, so you can listen to all the phrases, and words like; shorts, T-shirts, belts, flip flops, and hats.
Bedroom furniture is also featured.

12th Annual Lushootseed Language Conference (2022): Cultural Vitality in the Time of COVID

Lushootseed Research is excited to announce the 12th Annual Lushootseed Language Conference is Saturday, April 23rd. The theme for this year’s conference is, Cultural Vitality in the time of COVID. The Conference will operate about the same as last year, being fully online. The agenda of presenters should be available next week.

Lushootseed Department in collaboration with Diabetes Prevention Program is handing out food boxes to our Lushootseed students and families! Come through today (Old Tulalip Elementary School) while supplies last! First come first served! We also have a limited amount of COVID-Supplies.
