dxʷləšucid tubtubšədəd (Lushootseed Warriors) experienced a day̓ ʔəsbap datilič (very busy week) filled with meaningful cultural activities, including the TELA Salmon Ceremony and ʔuləx̌əd ti c̓abid (camas harvest). Our teachers worked alongside Tulalip Tribal members and other ʔaciɬtalbixʷ (people) from area Tribes to gather camas and biscuitroot. This hands-on learning not only deepens our teachers’ cultural knowledge, but also strengthens their ability to share these teachings—giving them even more tools to be the incredible educators they are.
