Hello, all you good folks, friends, and family. My name is Apollo Lewis and I live in Tulalip and am of Snohomish ancestry.
I am a Lushootseed language teacher assistant with the Tulalip Lushootseed language department. I teach at the Betty J. Taylor Early Learning Center. I teach children Monday through Thursday, with language, songs, and our traditional ways. I’m lucky to have grown up in the Tulalip community and with my family. I’m hoping to give the same teachings I was given and keep our culture alive.
I am currently enrolled at Northwest Indian College. I’m going for my AA direct transfer and hoping to get a degree in kinesiology, sports med, or physical therapy. Movements of the body and sports/working out has always been one of my interest, hence why I want to learn more about it and help others.
