The Tulalip Lushootseed Department will be hosting weekly Lushootseed Language and Culture lessons beginning this week through September.

This week I will be hosting the lessons! I will be sharing how to pronounce local tribe names and how they were documented at the time of the sound change.

I will also be teaching how to say “Tulalip”, tell a traditional story and more!

I hope you can join me during the lunch hour for a short lesson, Monday – Thursday this week.

The webinar will be on Zoom and it will live stream on my personal Facebook page as well.

Rachelle Claudia Armstead is working on her Master’s of Music in Composition program at the University of South Carolina and will be graduating in May 2022.
