Lushootseed Community Lesson 7-13-2021
The Tulalip Lushootseed Department will be hosting weekly Lushootseed Language and Culture lessons beginning this week through September. This week Natosha Gobin is hosting the lessons!
She’ll be sharing how to pronounce local tribe names and how they were documented at the time of the sound change. Also she’ll be teaching how to say “Tulalip”, tell a traditional story and more!
We hope you can join us during the lunch hour for a short lesson, Monday – Thursday this week.

It’s that time of year for us to gather up the youth ages 5-12 to participate in the 23rd Annual Lushootseed Language Camp. Attached are the sign up forms and flyer, please pass these on to those who you think will be interested in signing their kids up.
