Hello, my name is Oceana. I am an enrolled Tulalip Tribal member. I am a descendant of the Snohomish people and  Quinault Indian Nation. I am the only sister. I have an older brother and four younger brothers. I am a Lushootseed teacher at Betty J. Taylor Early Learning Academy. I dance on canoe journey. One of my nieces is my namesake she is in the picture above. Phyllis “BeeGee” Comenout is my mother. Suzanne Comenout was my maternal grandmother; she is from Quinault. Harry Cultee was my maternal grandfather. Jessie Grover-Stevens is my other maternal grandmother;she is from Quinault Indian Nation. Ken Stevens is my other maternal grandfather; he is Apache Native. He now lives at Quinault Indian Nation.
